CLUB CHARTER & MEMBERSHIP

The Lake Wildwood Motorcycle Club was organized in September, 2001. For the first Group Ride, we joined with 1400 other riders for the Nevada County Food and Toy Run to benefit underprivileged children. It was quite an event and heart warming to see the smiles on the faces of so many delighted kids who had a Merry Christmas thanks to the generous contributions of food and gifts from the Community.

The purpose of the Lake Wildwood Motorcycle Club is to provide a forum for current and future owners of street legal motorcycles to share a common interest, to help each other, to learn and practice good motorcycle safety, and to provide services for the community where possible as a nonprofit organization. Membership will include only Lake Wildwood Association Members in good standing. The Motorcycle Club will abide by all Lake Wildwood Association requirements.

Membership in the Motorcycle Club is contingent on payment of annual dues to be set by the Club Board and approved by the membership at the annual meeting. Each membership is a family membership and is entitled to one vote. At the Annual Meeting held on November 8, 2009, Fernando de la Torre was elected President. At a special meeting held May 16, 2010, Kim de la Torre was elected Vice-President.

During the year, we get together for rides to Bullards Bar, Downieville, Quincy, Tahoe, Sierra City, Truckee, Donner Lake and numerous other places throughout the Northern California Foothills.

If you are interested in joining us for group rides or would like any other information about our Club, please contact Fernando at 205-9499.
